McKinley Elementary School Strings scholars gave an outstanding performance at the 19th Annual ETM-LA Gala last Friday! The talented McKinley Eagles delivered a breathtaking rendition of “Ode to Joy/Lean On Me” by Ludwig Van Beethoven and Bill Withers.

Who loves poetry? Whaley Middle School scholars recently performed amazing poems to a cheering audience of fellow students and family as part of the Get Lit-Words Ignite assembly.
As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Whaley Middle School invited the Compton-based band Los Hijones to perform regional Mexican music for the students during a lively and exciting afternoon assembly.
